With over 20 years of combined experience in construction and property restoration, Rockland has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism.
Today we specialise in insurance contracting, working closely with loss adjusters, surveyors, and insurers to reinstate properties after fire, flood, escape of water, and impact damage.
Our team coordinates every trade required — from strip-outs and demolitions through to full structural rebuilds, kitchens, and bathrooms — ensuring a seamless return to pre-loss condition.
Whatever the scale of damage, our focus remains the same: delivering reinstatement works to the highest standard with minimal disruption for the policyholder.

Luke
After studying Surveying and Mapping at Newcastle University, I cycled around the world, covering over 20,000 miles through 30 different countries – an experience that shaped my resilience, problem-solving, and global perspective.
With over 11 years of experience in the construction industry, I’ve managed a diverse portfolio of projects, from detailed refurbishments and barn conversions to a 22-home luxury development spanning more than 40,000 square feet. My approach combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen and a commitment to high-quality delivery.
I am now actively scaling a specialist insurance contracting division, providing responsive and dependable solutions for damage-related works across the UK.
Tom
Thomas served six years in the Royal Marines, including deployment in Afghanistan, where he developed the resilience, leadership, and discipline that continue to define his work today.
After leaving the military, he completed a team cycling expedition around the world, covering over 20,000 miles across 30 countries – an endurance challenge that reinforced his drive, focus, and adaptability.
Thomas began his construction career in carpentry but quickly progressed to running full-scale residential developments, from land procurement through to planning, construction, and sale. With over a decade of experience delivering high-spec projects, he brings a deep understanding of the full development cycle.
In recent years, Thomas has expanded into insurance reinstatement contracting, applying his experience to urgent restoration work following fire, flood, and structural damage. He’s known for his hands-on approach, high standards, and ability to deliver under pressure.
